The Emergency Shelter, located at 301 East Seventh Street, provides thousands of nights of shelter each year to those in our community who have been affected by difficult financial times. Last year, we provided over 5,000 nights of shelter to 279 individuals.
Our soup kitchen provided hundreds of individuals with a hot meal and a place of refuge each day. Last year, we served almost 55,000 meals in our kitchen.
Hot meals are served Monday-Saturday at 11:30am and sack lunches are served on Sunday at 12:15pm.
Our kitchen is located at 313 East Seventh Street at the rear of the building.
For over 100 years, The Salvation Army has provided disaster response and long-term recovery to survivors of natural disasters.
